Pararowing, also known as adaptive rowing, is a rowing discipline for athletes with physical disabilities. It follows the same basic rules as traditional rowing, with adaptations made to equipment and classification to accommodate athletes with different abilities. Athletes may use a fixed seat or sliding seat, and boats are adapted to meet the specific needs of the rowers.
